Sometimes beauty does not have to break the bank. Lip liners are one type of beauty products I choose affordability over prestige brands. Of course some prestige brands will have better quality liners but in my experience, many drugstore liners have similar, great quality at a fraction of the price. So today I’ll be sharing 5 brands who make lip liners incredibly affordable without compromising quality!
Most lip liners I use are on the affordable side but that doesn’t mean I splurge on a few higher end ones. Let’s be real, if I could, I’d own lip liners from every brand out there. In case you’re curious, some higher end lip liners I enjoy are from Kat Von D, Mac, Urban Decay, and Bite Beauty. As much as I love them to bits, the ones I reach for the most are from the 5 brands I mention below. Better yet, they all cost less than $6 a piece!
Wet N Wild Perfect Pout Gel Liners are hands down my number one and favorite! These babies are retractable, smooth, and creamy and and only $2.99 a piece! I use the shade Never Petal Down almost daily – it’s the perfect nude/mauve shade. The only complaint I have is that there are only 6 shades – I hope they come out with more soon!
At $5 a piece, ColourPop Lippie Pencils are hard to pass up. The formula is great as is their shade range. I own a ton of these since they create matching pencils to their many of their Lippie Stix that I am hooked to.
Prestige Cosmetics Waterproof Lip Liners are $5.50 a piece and very creamy and pigmented. My favorite shade from them is Fleur – like Never Petal Down from Wet N Wild, this is a great mauve/nude shade to use on a daily basis for me!
The most affordable on this list! Essence Lip Liners are only $1.99 a piece and definitely worth checking out if you’re into wooden pencils with a more creamier formula than other ones. I love using these when I want a more precise finish and let’s be real, you cannot beat the price.
Last but not least are the NYX Lip Liners. They offer four different kinds, both wooden and retractable ranging from $3.99 to $7.99. My favorites are their wooden pencils, which happen to be the most affordable out of the four times! They are extremely creamy for wooden pencils and come in a TON of different shades!
Are any of these on your favorites list? Let me know what lip liners you love the most!
